Exceptional property in a wonderful location. Car parking right next to property. The property is stunning, very spacious, clean, comfortable and fully equipped. Has everything and more that you could possibly need for a self catering holiday. The very friendly owners have gone to great lengths to ensure we had everything needed. Communication prior and upon arrival was exceptional as were comprehensive information folders in the property. During our stay our privacy was respected but we could contact the owners who live on site should we have needed anything (which we didn’t as everything was perfect) Stunning kitchen with every appliance and facility you could possibly need. Very comfortable beds, sofas and chairs . We were only on a three night stay mainly to visit RHS Rosemoor just a few minutes away by car. We also managed to visit some stunning locations which are close (Clovelly, Hartland point) So much more to do close to this location (Tarka trail access just up the lane on the doorstep) We hope to stay longer next time. Finally we enjoyed our daily visits from the very friendly chickens especially the leader of the group Gloria! Well done John and Anne for creating such a stunning place to stay.

The property was extremely clean and the hosts(John and Anne) had thought of everything, from a portable speaker to salt and pepper! The location was perfect for our little family staycation, 20-40 mins from top attractions and beaches. Was amazing to see the clear skies in the evening with all the stars. The hosts were really accommodating, friendly and approachable. The property was also beautiful! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a getaway in the stunning Devon countryside.

the property was amazing, very well appointed and with wonderful views. Very quiet apart from the most welocme noise of animals in ther next field. Roaming chickens added to the charm.
I cannot think on how this stay could have been improved upon.

Very spacious and comfortable accomodation in beautiful location, next to the Tarka Trail and not far from lovely towns, beaches, and tourist attractions (such as RHS Rosemoor). Great communication with John (the host), and very friendly chickens (who kept us all amused). Everything we could possibly need and such a lovely large kitchen. Recommend hiring bikes for Tarka Trail, visits to RHS Rosemoor, Bideford, Appledore, Barnstaple, boat trips from Ilfracombe, swimming at Westward Ho! and Woolacombe. We had a wonderful week in North Devon. Thank you :)
Nothing we did not like, although we did think that a wooden set of garden furniture would be a nice alternative (including a parasol) but we understand that (due to the weather) this is not practical. The existing furniture is functional and did not affect our holiday, therefore this does not affect the overall score for this property.
