Spacious property with lovely little garden

We stayed here for 3 nights and really loved this place, very spacious over three floors which the kids enjoyed playing hide and seek. It's very well equipped for young children, they provide toilet/sink steps, high chair, travel cot, various story books, selection of toys and teddies, plastic kitchen dinnerware, non slip bath mat, bed guard, family toilet seat.
Kitchen has almost everything - fridge, freezer, oven, hob, kettle, microwave, toaster, washing machine, coffee and tea selection, pans, cutlery - including utensils like pizza cutter, whisks, measuring spoons, grater. For us it could have done with an extra oven tray but otherwise I was very impressed with what's included in the house.
It also has a little garden with a playhouse, patio and stepping stones. The lights in the evening are very pretty and would have been a perfect place to unwind in the evening (if it hadn't been raining for most of our stay).
Very well located with a Boston Tea Party on the other side of the road, coop just behind it and a little square with restaurants - we ordered from the Sushi place and Italian place and was able to collect our order as it's just a minute walk. There's also a few retail parks close by but we didn't explore those during our stay.
The owner seemed really lovely, we had an issue due booking.com double booking the house on our last night. The owner was very quick to resolve the issue and put measures into place to make us feel comfortable. I would happily stay here again.
My main issue was the door locking system - it's great for access into the building. But once you're inside there's no deadbolt to stop little curious 2 year olds from opening it and bolting out the front onto a road. I think a simple deadbolt could easily resolve this concern. We had to barracade ourselves in at night so my little one wouldn't go exploring in the middle of the night (he didn't use the cot and there's no stair gates, which is fine for us) so there was a real chance he could wake in the night and go walk abouts.

The house was spacious and very clean. Beds were all comfortable and there were fans in the rooms to help with the heat. A welcome feature was the bathroom/WC on every floor.
There were several shops and restaurants nearby so you could get anything you needed without going too far. The off-road parking was a bonus. Close to motorway links which worked for us as we were visiting several places during our stay. It was a fair way out of the centre which meant it was nice and quiet of an evening, but the bus journey was 40mins if you wanted to go into town.
Not much was wrong with the property. The only thing we didn't have was a welcome/instruction book which we have had at some properties. When it came time to leave, we didn't know where the bins were or if we needed to strip the beds (some hosts ask you do this). Otherwise, it was one of the best places we have stayed.

La mancanza dell’aria condizionata è una grossa pecca. La stanza all’ultimo piano era praticamente inagibile. I ventilatori non sono sufficienti. So che nel Regno Unito non fa mai tanto caldo, ma in casi occasionali come questo l’aria condizionata è necessaria. La doccia del bagno all’ultimo piano necessita di un tappetino antiscivolo. È molto pericolosa.
