Located in Melito Porto Salvo, in the Greek-speaking area of Bovesia in Calabria, you will find this apartment with everything you need for a great family vacation. Come together in the well-equipped kitchen, because you will be cooking together during the day, and you can enjoy your meals at the cozy dining table. Use the apartment as a good starting point for your activities and excursions and go to the beach and plunge into the waves of the Ionian Sea.
Enjoy the view from the beach Lungomare dei mille, the southernmost point of the Italian peninsula. On the rock face of Monte Calvario is the mysterious and fascinating ghost town of Pentedattilo, abandoned after the catastrophic earthquake of 1783. The small center can only be reached on foot. Some areas of the town have been partially restored. A night visit is possible only in August, when the village paths are illuminated. Not to forget the mountain village of Bova, located at an altitude of 820 meters, which offers an incomparable 360 degree view over the mountainous National Park and the Strait of Messina to Etna and the Ionian Sea. The castle of Sant'Aniceto, dating back to the Byzantine period, is located in an isolated position and is undoubtedly worth a visit.
