We just needed somewhere cheap and comfortable to spend the night while visiting the university and this fitted the bill. Not huge but plenty of space for three of us for the night, supermarket a short drive away. Check in and parking was seamless.
Oven door was broken, which was a bit dicey as we didn't realise until it was in use (trying not to drop a large sheet of glass heated to 200 degrees!).

It was a great location for visiting family in Sheffield and it had a separate shower which was essential due to mobility issues.
It was exceptionally clean and the little extras such as tea and coffee made us feel very welcome.
It would have been helpful to have information about the recycling and bin collections.
Instructions on how to operate the hot water would have made the 1st night more comfortable. We managed to work out how turn the hot water on in the morning, but then had to wait for it to heat up before we could shower.

Location was perfect for getting to city centre by tram/bus. Good local dining options and close to motorway.
No explanation on how central heating worked other than switch on constant. This I did for the first evening and, as the thermostat didn't work, the heating was on full blast all night and was too hot. Eventually, after altering the clock on the controls and the settings for twice on I managed to get it to work as it should but still without temp control. Also the microwave and oven had no power to them which meant I had to find which switch to use. Would help if all were marked and instructions provided.
