From her vantage point well above the tree line, Pinkie Flamingo had a spectacular “bird's eye view” of the entire lay of the land. Stretching her wings luxuriously, she floated over clusters of opulent vacation homes…each standing ready to welcome those fortuitous enough to have discovered the undeniable charm of Florida's scenic highway 30A. It was another glorious sunny day along the Emerald Coast of Florida and all was right with the world.
As Pinkie drifted along her favorite route, she spied what appeared to be a mirage glimmering in the heat of the summer sun. A spectacular 3-story private home with an enormous sparkling resort-style pool seemed to beckon her. Landing gently on the roof, Pinkie surveyed the layout below. The inviting house sat just off County Hwy 393 which ran through the popular community of Gulf Place. The privacy fence created the backdrop for a very cozy backyard oasis graced by the most deliciously-inviting pool. The scene stood ready to host the perfect soiree and Pinkie could envision cook-outs or happy hours in the courtyard filled with friends and family. Intrigued, Pinkie swooped down for further investigation.

We stayed at Pinkie with two families with a total of 4 adults and 5 children. The pool was top notch - worth every penny of the rental cost. The location to the beach, undeniably easy - even with the busy road. Close to tons of options for food and drink without having to hop in the car. The layout of the house was wonderful for the two families to have privacy on separate floors. We would absolutely recommend and stay here again. The only suggestion I would give is the umbrellas near the pool and their bases are not safely maintained. We had weather multiple days with high winds and the umbrellas flew all over the yard - at times, while we were out there. Something to look into to prevent an incident.

Finding the house and checking in was super easy. Parking was perfect for three SUVs! The house was very cozy, and AC worked well (nice part was each floor has separate units, so everyone could set their own preferred temp). Location was great, with just about a 1/3 mile from touching the ocean, and with plenty of restaurants nearby! The pool was especially popular with the kids, and having it heated (for an etra 50/day) was super worth it! Even when it was windy outside, the water was nice. When the water didnt seem to be warm anymore in the middle of our trip, the owners were very responsive to send someone out to fix the situation. Loved the spot and made our yearly family vacation a blast!

We had a great stay and will definitely stay again! The pool and hot tub were amazing, beds were comfortable, and the house was spotless. Highly recommend!
