The property is expansive and beautifully maintained. Owners spent a lot of time planning the layout and all of the plants. It was an oasis in the middle of Hocuba.

We were looking for the right place to explore some of the major Mayan sites and cenotes and chose the Cabañas Hunab Ku, as it sat nicely in the middle of everything. With a 1 hour drive to Chichen Itza, and surrounded by the Cenotes in Homun, we were pleasantly surprised to discover that the piece of land owned by our highly welcoming hosts, Carlos and Fernanda, had been turned into a small garden of Eden.
Everything is kept tidy and you really feel at peace walking around the trees and greenery, surrounding the small but comfortable huts. The estate is geared towards self suffiency which permeates through all the decisions made to make this perfect place to rest in between day tours.
Highly recommended by my wife and I!

Wonderful stay, really nice hosts, sweet cabaña in jungle gardens. Lovely pool. Cabin very comfortable, used air- conditioner at night. Convenient for nearby cenotes in Homun - I recommend Santa Barbara, especially early in the morning. There is a couple of small taco places in nearby villages (not listed on google maps). A great place to relax, plus the cooked breakfast was delicious.
The local villages are very basic, so bring cash for cenotes and tacos. Rural Yucatan is beautiful.

Five stars is not enough to rate this wonderful place and the experience we had. We loved it! It is fabulous!!
Carlos and Fernanda are exceptional hosts and have welcomed us to their paradise with open arms. The cabins are beautiful and so comfortable. The bed and the bed linnen were perfect, the shower as well. We received every morning a delicious fresh home made breakfast and great talks with Carlos about many interesting topics.
They also offered to make our laundry, which was very much appreciated.
They accommodated our dieters needs and gave us many tips on which cenote to visit and other locations.
We also enjoyed the swimming pool and hammock.
If you are looking for a magical stay, don’t look further!! This place is “home” in paradise.
