Huset var meget charmerende og lå et dejligt sted. Værelserne var store og vel indrettede. Køkkenet fungerede fint som mødested for den gruppe på 5 kvinder, vi var. Vi sad også i haven i det skønne september-vejr. Ikke langt fra huset var, hvad vi skulle bruge i det daglige; supermarked, god restaurant, fin kaffebar mm. Værten var meget opmærksom og hjælpsom.

Jeg kunne lide det hele. Vi kunne have brugt endnu et badeværelse (5 kvinder), men det var vi var klar over inden bestillingen. Så alt i alt ingen klager herfra.

We loved everything about our stay in this beautiful apartment. It is full of amazing objects to admire. The five bedrooms were all a good size and the beds were comfortable with lovely linen. The towels were plentiful and super soft. Plenty of hot water in the shower at all times. The garden was beautiful and the area peaceful and residential. It is a short walk to two railway stations to take trips into Paris. There are lovely restaurants a few minutes walk away and a supermarket too. Everything was truly perfect and the owners are the most friendly and helpful people. Highly recommended

An absolute gem, full of character, incredibly spacious and perfect for our family We absolutely loved our four-night stay at Villa des Ammonites in Meudon and would happily give it the highest possible rating. We travelled as a family of five, two adults and three teenagers, and one of the biggest advantages was simply the amount of space. With five double beds and exceptionally large bedrooms, everyone could have their own space, which is quite a luxury when visiting Paris as a family. The bedrooms were much larger than we expected, with plenty of storage and all having their own desks and seating areas. The whole apartment was also meticulously clean. What really sets this property apart, however, is its wonderful character and personality. This isn’t a bland holiday apartment with identical white rooms and generic furniture. The whole place is wonderfully eclectic and full of colour, with exposed wooden beams, sloping ceilings, artwork, rugs, unusual lamps, plants, ceramics, ornaments and hundreds of books filling the shelves. Everywhere you look there seems to be another interesting little detail. Each room feels different and individual, and even the bathroom has its own character with wooden flooring, plants and lovely blue-and-white detailing. It is quirky in the very best sense of the word, but without sacrificing comfort or quality. It feels less like staying in a holiday rental and more like being invited to stay in someone’s fascinating and much-loved French home. Our teenagers particularly enjoyed having their own spaces, and despite there being five of us, we never once felt cramped. The studio style property is arranged over the upper floors of the building. The kitchen and dining area are on the second floor, with the living room, bedrooms and bathroom on the third floor. The hosts were extremely pleasant, welcoming and helpful whenever we spoke to them.

We don’t recall anything which we didn’t like about it.
