Kauniin puutarhan ympäröimä villa täysin omassa rauhassa. Loistava valinta sellaiselle, joka ei viihdy turistialueiden hälinässä.

La villa è immersa nel verde e la piscina è un grande valore aggiunto alla struttura. Abbiamo utilizzato molto anche il barbecue per le nostre cene. Se volete vivere la parte più bella di Creta questa è la location giusta. Inoltre, essendo due appartamenti separati é ideale se viaggiate insieme ad amici. Il proprietario Pantelis una persona squisita, gentile e super accogliente.

Set amongst orange and avocado groves, this villa offers a peaceful setting where you're truly immersed in nature. During our stay, we spotted frogs, two snakes and plenty of local wildlife, which we found exciting rather than a concern. The large swimming pool was excellent, clean, and well-maintained, with plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas, and the barbecue area was well-equipped.
Pantellis gave us a warm welcome on arrival and was quick to help when the downstairs toilet unexpectedly flooded, arranging a plumber immediately, which we appreciated. When we checked out, he also took the time to wave us off with thoughtful gifts, a genuinely kind gesture that was much appreciated and a lovely way to end our stay.
The villa's location is one of its biggest strengths. It is ideally placed for exploring Chania, the surrounding villages, the mountains and many beautiful beaches. The extensive gardens, with mature palms, trees and shrubs, create a lovely sense of space and privacy.
Our only disappointment was the overall level of maintenance and attention to detail inside the villa. We found several minor issues on arrival, including broken door handles, mouldy shower curtains, a non-flushing upstairs toilet, loose light fittings and curtains that needed repairing. None of these, individually, spoiled our holiday, but together they gave the impression that routine maintenance between guests could be more thorough.
The décor is exactly as shown in the photographs and will come down to personal taste. For us, it felt rather generic and lacked the character and sense of place that we enjoy when staying in Greece.
Overall, this is a spacious villa with an excellent pool and a fantastic location for exploring western Crete. With a little more attention to maintenance and interior detail, it could be an outstanding place to stay.
