Stayed in the "Burg Stahleck", a roomy 1-bedroom apartment on the first floor of this renovated ancient building whose name translates as "The Old Tannery". It has a separate lounge and dining area, and a remarkably well-equipped kitchen with a full range of appliances. The apartment is clearly well looked after with everything in good condition and perfect working order. The location is ideal, being only a very short distance from the centre of this picturesque town and directly opposite a small but well-stocked supermarket.
Cannot think of any niggles or improvements. It's about as perfect as a self-catering apartment could be.
