Sensational view

This is probably one of the best if not the very best place to stay in you want a stunning view over Lake Mondsee

- advertised with dishwasher but none existed. Funnily, checking out instructions asked us to stack dishwasher. Perhaps other apartments had one but we did not - no microwave oven - synthetic doona (hot, they did not breathe like cotton) - no umbrella on balcony - imposslble to sit outside until late in afternoon - smell of cows etc quite close by

Ausblick wirklich traumhaft, aber ....

Der Ausblick vom Balkon ist, wie auch schon oft beschrieben, traumhaft. Die gute Seele des Hauses namens Gabi, ist immer freundlich, manchmal auch Kummerkasten und Engel in der Not. Dank Gabi und einer freien Ausweichwohnung, mit normal breitem Doppelbett, konnten wir wenigstens noch an ein paar wenigen Tage den Aufenthalt ansatzweise genießen. Ganz lieben Dank an Gabi für Deine spontane Hilfe!

Das Haus erst einmal zu finden, ist die erste Herausforderung bei der Ankunft, da es keine Hinweise gibt. Die Wohnung bzw. das Haus steht in mitten einer Viehwirtschaft, wo gegen 4 Uhr der Milchlaster vorfährt und ab 6 Uhr der alltägliche Betrieb, mit entsprechender Technik, aufgenommen wird. Ausschlafen oder draußen frühstücken, auf Grund der Viehwirtschaft, definitiv Fehlanzeige und der Aussenbereich lässt sich eigentlich auch nur nachts genießen, da am Tag der teilweise sehr strenge Geruch und die zahlreichen Insekten nicht ignoriert werden können. Das "Doppelbett" entpuppte sich als ein schmales Bett mit nur 140x200 cm, mit einem Lattenrost. Für 2 Personen viel zu schmal und extrem unbequem, da jede noch so kleine Bewegung zu Lasten des Schlafnachbar geht. Die Ausziehcouch im Wohnzimmer ist nicht breiter und auch für eine erholsame Nachtruhe nicht geeignet. Wir haben alles erdenkliche probiert und mussten schließlich kapitulieren. Es sollte vielleicht darüber nachgedacht werden, eher auf ein Nachtschränkchen zu verzichten und dafür ein breiteres Bett, mit 2 Lattenrosten, auf zustellen. Die Badegarnitur war defekt, wurde schließlich gewechselt und danach mehrere Tage undicht, sodass eine ganze Badewanne voll zusammen gekommen ist. Wir sind sehr genügsame Urlauber, die keine überzogenen Ansprüche haben und auch mal ein Auge zudrücken, aber hier hat es definitiv nicht gepasst.
