Not great but made the most of it

The area was great, very central and on first looks the property looked great

The system to get into the building was extremely complicated although we were given codes to all doors we could only actually enter the apartment through the Kent street entrance. The corridors and lift were filthy. We understand this is a shared space however it was noticeably dirty with a very strong smell of cannabis. Inside the property the heating system did not work and as such the heating remained set the duration of our stay. Meaning the living room where 2 people were sleeping was 28 degrees. We were not given any bedding for the pull out sofa bed which was absolutely disgusting. It was covered in stains and hair as well as grime. We had to sleep on towels our first nightht as it was so disgusting we did not want to touch it. ( this was rectified when I contacted the booking company however it still ruined a large portion of our 2 night stay). The door to the freezer cupboard was also broken and fell out everytime we opened the door. We also found the shower in the main bathroom to be very very low for anybody over 5ft
