The kitchen was extremely well stocked with dishes, appliances, etc. The fridge and freezer were very roomy. There were plenty of great restaurants and shops nearby, especially in Wurtsboro. There was a rail-trail right down the hill from the house, and many great hiking trails in the Shawangunks such as Sam's Point. There were historical sites to explore such as the D&H Canal Museum and trail. The owner was extremely receptive. The TV had numerous options. The mini-splits were easy to work with and kept the temps/humidity at comfortable levels. The front-door code was also easy to negotiate. The neighborhood was residential and seemed friendly.
The shower water took a bit of time to heat up (turned halfway down to the right) and never got real toasty. The throw rugs might pose a problem for folks prone to tripping, but can be easily stacked in a corner during the stay. The initial step into the house is also something to note when hurrying in and out the front door.
