It was very clean and looked new with a great location to the interstate. The view of the mountains was perfect with several places to eat within walking distance. The breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast but was very good. The staff were friendly and professional.

I searched for HI express in Staunton VA and the one for another one in the area came up (20 minutes away.). We had been in the uhaul for two days and really needed to be off the road. When I hit what I thought was the Staunton VA HI, it gave me directions. When I got to the hotel, the girl couldn’t find my reservation. When I looked at my receipt online it was for the other one, which meant we had to take our bags back out to the uhaul. The girl told us we wouldn’t be able to switch hotels at that point, so we had to drive another 20 minutes in the opposite direction from where we were headed on Monday. Last time I will use hotels.com

The hotel as a whole was great! The beds however were not. The couch pullout has a new mattress but you could feel the springs through it and the king bed had new mattress as well but my husband and my back hurt the next day.

Very pleasant, competent and efficient front desk clerk at check in. Large, clean and comfortable rooms. The entire hotel seemed new and well kept. Easy access to Interstate and plenty of parking. No complaints at all!

Stayed two nights at this very clean facility. Staff are very nice, breakfast is good. Husband would have like to try the pancake maker, but it was not working. Good location for us and near lots of services and the highway.

Within 5 minutes of entering our hotel room a bed bug was crawling on our bed. We gathered all our belongings and went to the front desk. Told them quietly what happened. The manager tried to tell us it was a stink bug. I said we did not feel comfortable staying after this and how do I get a refund? The manager said that the general manager had to issue the refund and she would be in tomorrow morning and call me. No call was received, so I left a message on her voicemail. Still no call back so I called the front desk. Still no help. Don’t stay at this hotel! Bed bugs and poor customer service!

Hotel is brand new, very clean and conveniently right off the interstate and near lots of restaurants. Great amenities and breakfast, pretty much same as other holiday inn express locations. Staff was friendly and had quick check in and check out. Only negative is that the rooms are only partially carpeted, so like other reviewers mentioned you might hear some loud sounds above you (first night? Sounded like a freakin gorilla tramping around above me lol). Would definitely stay here again though!

Overall very good but air conditioning made weid sounds and som guests over our room made our stay very uncomfortable because they had kids jumping, running and screaming all night for the 3 nights so was horrible.

this hotel is new but they had not checked out everything. shower did not drain so they had to use a plunger to get the drain to work. the maids beat on our door around 6:15 pm to clean our room even though it was available to clean all day. Breakfast was average , the juice machine had no juice of any kind available on day two . The lights on the headboard did not work and I had to find the plugs inside the headboard to plug the lights in. They said they would give us a discount but it appears no adjustment was done. Overall experience was disappointing.

The hotel is brand new and very clean. It took us close to 30 min to check in which after being on the road for 8 hours was disappointing. The room was clean and very comfortable. The two things that were very disheartening was the air conditioner never really shuts off it makes noise 24-7 so those with brain injuries beware. And they have a blinking light directly over the bed for a smoke detector or some other safety feature, very poor placement.

I gave 3 star’s because this is a new property and they just had quite a few bugs to work out. The hotel is very clean and new, the room spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast was one of the reason for the three stars. They seemed to be out of everything. The first morning there was boiled eggs and potatoes with bread for toasting. We ended up going to Cracker Barrel. The second morning was some better, but things were not being replenished. The third morning I finally got to have some bacon with my eggs. There was yogurt and cinnamon rolls, but the orange juice was empty. The scanner on the tv did not work, so we couldn’t cast movies to the tv. Our keys had to be rescanned every day. I think once they work out the kinks, this will be a great place to stay. I will stay here again, hopefully when things are sorted out.
