Location
Had to contact you as we hadn’t received key safe details and couldn’t get into the property. Person was helpful when I finally got through but we had to wait outside nearly an hour. Not a good start.

The house is set amid fields of sheep and fabulous vistas (there is a tiny fenced area around the house), looking out of the windows is addictive, we were pleased to see the lake as we hadn't seen that in the write up, or the patio furniture. The bed is comfortable, the wood burner is great. The novelty of driving along tracks through several fields, opening (and closing) 5 gates and patiently waiting for sheep to move is fun.
There isn't any wifi but mobile signal is fine. The sofa and chair are ok for short spells of sitting but not for a cosy evening in. (The track and gates might not be so much fun in the dark / rain or if you don't have a passenger). We had to phone for the key safe code shortly before arrival as the email did not arrive. All this said we would come again.

The location was fabulous. The cottage was very clean, the bed was comfortable. There was plenty of hot water and everything was working.
No Wifi - this is not acceptable nowadays. All holiday venues need wifi, this really inconvenienced me for my stay.
DVDs - this is a couples venue and the DVDs were for children. Something more suitable for grown-ups please
A comfy sofa would have been great, it was very small and hard.
Shampoo and conditioner was supplied, but not washing-up liquid or cooking oil.
There were no books or maps in the cottage
I needed an email giving me the keysafe number. This was finally sent one hour before check-in, after spending half a day trying to get through on the phone

Being far enough away from it all to relax but close enough to civilisation to grab some fish and chips or a bottle of wine if the mood dictates.
