Excellent host! Very kind and friendly - gave me a wonderful welcome tour and took my heavy suitcase all the way up the stairs to the room. The place is a cleverly converted under-the-roof space. Has AC - no issues with the heat in August plus it's always cooler by the seaside at night. Stunning bay views and the binoculars provided were an amazing bonus! Comfortable bed, strong water pressure, good working space. Excellent location - literally across the beach, and 1/2 hour leisure walk through quaint streets and archeological sites to the center's pedestrian core / cathedral.
Wasn't an issue for me but as a loft - there are steep stairs to bed and bathroom. As most buildings in Varna, the building itself doesn't have an elevator. For a physically fit single traveler or a couple - would def recommend. Mind the noise from the clubs on the beach strip. Albeit very clean otherwise (sheets, bathroom), it could have used a bit more detailing in the kitchen. It was also quite dusty. The kitchen sponge should have been thrown out a few guests ago.
