The place is big, lots of space. The bed is cozy. There is a pretty good pan that works well.
Communication is a "choose your own adventure" book where the pages are blank. Sending check-in info while guests are on a red-eye is a bold strategy, especially when follow-up questions are treated like spam mail. My "I’m going to arrive at... could you..." question was met with a riveting: "Hello [Name]"—friendly, but not an answer.
The security is also a unique vibe: We came back to find a craftsman just hanging out on our balcony. The host gave him and his whole crew access to the apartment without informing us and didn't bother with an explanation or apology afterward.
The place is a "Spartan Fridge"—huge, empty, and perpetually chilly. While the outside walls are amazing at blocking street noise (you'd never know you're in the center), the inside walls are made of tissue paper. We had front-row seats to a French couple’s 4 AM screaming match. There are two bathrooms, but one smells like a crime scene in the pipes. So we treated it as such and never opened that door again.
