The Mallard Hotel & Suites

Close to my destination. Comfy bed. Air works great. Nice mini fridge.

No one on site, toilet seat was broken, curtains didn't keep enough light out. Tiny bar of soap.

Room was clean

Difficulty getting in. We had to phone the number on the door and she ended up having to give us the key code to get the key out of the lock box to be able to get in.

As I pulled up I wondered if I was in the right place, it looked deserted & dilapidated. Fortunately though, our room was updated and very cute. The bed wasn’t anything special, but it was decent and the pillows were heavenly (I even checked to see what brand they were.). The bathroom was still pretty dingy, not updated other than new paint. The working fridge was a bonus. Overall our stay was comfortable and the place was mostly clean so I would stay here again if ever needed. I’m pretty sure this is the only motel/hotel in Copperhill so you honestly don’t have many options. There was no staff on site at any time, except for the cleaning ladies. You’ll receive a code to enter your room before check-in

The bathroom. The exterior of the building was not renovated at all and looked run down, I would assume they have plans to remodel that too, just as they did the rooms.

There was an outdoor community patio that was pretty

The room was not very clean. The floor hadn’t appeared to be cleaned in between guests so we did not walk barefoot at all in the room we stayed in shoes or made sure we were standing on a towel. I actually had to go hunt down a hand towel because they wasn’t one in the room. The lobby stayed closed the entire time so no breakfast.
