We thoroughly loved the cottage and the location. Even though we only booked the day before, the hosts provided us with a fabulous selection of welcome goodies, including gluten free crackers and biscuits which was really appreciated. The cottage is at the bottom of a lane, it's perfectly dark and quiet at night, a very welcome break from the sounds of traffic and street lighting where we live. We walked every day, surrounded by birds and nature, utter bliss. We ate at several of the hosts recommended places, and we were not disappointed. The food in both The Black Venus and Exmoor Inn was delicious, you do need to book though. We will definitely be going back.

Lovely quiet rural setting, within walking distance of a pub and tea room. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating. The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed. We would definitely come back and stay again.

Lovely homely feeling little cottage. Would have liked to have stayed longer. Everything was ready for our arrival including towels, tea bags and some extra treats we didn't expect!

Beds were wonderful and it was a very quiet location. The cottage was very clean and tidy and the welcome box was very kind.

I am afraid we are not a fan of diffusers and we put them in cupboards.
