The property is beautiful , located only a short distance from downtown. Therefore, everything you need is right around the corner. However, our host, Victoria, had abundantly supplied everything one could think of and more. There is a wonderful shower, luxurious bedding, a modern kitchen and lots of comfy places to read and relax. The yard is spacious with a covered patio table to eat and read at. The atmosphere felt like home- so comfortable, peaceful, lovely. Victoria had fresh flowers in every room and books that connected you to Alaska- its people, and rich culture. She went out of her way to make our stay wonderful, and I cannot say enough about how delightful it was to stay here. If I were to return to Fairbanks, I would definitely stay at Fireweed a house.

Everything!!! This was a 10+ experience. I wish they allowed a higher rating. Victoria met us as we drove up. What a wonderful lady and host!
Fireweed House was amazing!! It was the cherry on top to end our 50th Anniversary Alaska Adventure.
Everything about this place is done extremely well. Victoria has tried to think of everything to make sure your stay is great!It just made us smile when when we walked in. Fresh flowers in every room. A full kitchen with everything you can think of. Lots of space to sit and relax. A backyard with places to sit and a grill to grill on. It felt like home away from home! If we go back to Fairbanks - we will adjust our plans to make sure we can stay here again.
Not a thing!! I don't think there is way to improve the house or experience.

Everything. It was way over the top with comfort and decor. All those little extras made such a difference.
