It was nice to be in a new building. The sunset were lovely. The bed was comfortable.
The property felt uncomfortable at times due to overly watchful security, including being followed while I was simply looking around after check-in. I was also repeatedly questioned at the pool about my documented service dog, as staff seemed unable to distinguish her from a pet.
The condo is quite remote, about a 30-minute walk from San Bartolo’s main square and most shops and services. The master bathroom also had a noticeable sewage smell whenever the toilet was flushed or water was running. Also there was no soap provided for hand washing in the bathrooms and the sponge in the kitchen the was provided was old.
Overall, the apartment itself had positives, but these issues affected the experience.
