It is immaculate. In the backyard of the most delightful couple on a quant and quiet street in Forest Hills. Their two two adorable, friendly and lovable dogs were a delightful bonus. I entered my stay as a guest and left as a friend. The cottage is essentially a bedroom with a full bath, coffee maker and toaster oven.

Beautifully decorated and clean, with the sweetest doggy greeting committee. Great location with a beautiful walk to the train station and Forest Hills Stadium. It was a cozy little retreat for our anniversary trip. Our host was incredibly gracious. We felt very at home and enjoyed or first trip to NYC so much.
There was one small snafu with a surprise drive way demolition mix up occurring right before a major rain storm, resulting in a precarious entry path and muddy shoes. There wasn’t a great place to hang wet clothing and shoes to dry. The path to the cottage was rerouted for a couple of days, but our host was so sweet and generous. She apologized profusely and was so hospitable. And the new driveway is lovely! Would not hesitate to stay again or to recommend.

The entire apartment was incredibly lovely. I cannot recommend this booking enough!
The location was a little far from a train stop for the cold weather, but I'm also from Texas so take this comment with a heavy grain of salt haha.

Das Zimmer befindet sich in einer wunderschönen Wohngegend. Was früher mal eine Garage war, wurde zu einem kleinen Zimmer mit Bad umgebaut. An sich war es sehr schön und ruhig. Die Lage ist also unschlagbar. Wir bekamen im vorhinein über Booking.com alle Anweisungen wo wir den Schlüssel etc. finden würden - alles ganz unkompliziert und hat super funktioniert.
Leider war das Zimmer alles andere als sauber. Im Bett waren Haare von den Leuten, die anscheinend vor uns im Zimmer schliefen. Der Boden war auch nicht wirklich sauber. Zudem kommt man sich etwas wie ein Eindringling vor. Als wir ankamen saßen die Nachbarn gerade beim Mittagessen in ihrem Garten, der ca. 3 Meter von dem Zimmer entfernt ist. Die Fenster des Zimmer zeigen auch direkt in den Garten des angrenzenden Hauses, zu dem die Garage auch gehört. Man kommt sich ohne Jalousie also ziemlich beobachtet vorkommt. Alles in allem war das Zimmer leider für diese Umstände einfach nur sehr teuer.
