dalla terrazza si gode di una vista fantastica. posizione eccellente: 10 minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia di santa giulia, e 15 in macchina dalla palombaggia. casa accogliente e ben arredata, fornita di elettrodomestici nuovi e moderni. quando anche stare in casa è vacanza.
il giardino al tramonto si riempie di zanzare, ma in tutta questa zona della corsica ne abbiamo trovate molte. munirsi di zampironi e autan è indespensabile.

Tip: de enige aanmerking die wij hebben is dat het fijn zou zijn dat naast de handdoeken ook een set badlakens aanwezig zijn voor het zwembad en het strand.

The view
The location. We had to drive everywhere. Didn’t want to go out at night as it was so dark, no street lights, no cats eyes and narrow roads from hell. There was a beach restaurant, possibly two but we only tried one, about a 15 minute walk away down hill. But coming back it was uphill and 31 degrees, not fun. Didn’t fancy walking it at night. The villa had everything you needed..but the sheets on the bed were horrible to be honest, dry and itchy. Not hotel quality like you would expect for the money really. It could’ve done with a really good deep clean too. There is a cleaner obviously but I’m pretty sure she relies on the outgoing guest to do the bulk of it for her. I’m not going to say on here what was wrong, it’s not fair.
I will just say the house inside was so dark and gloomy , the lights were all dim and cast an orange glow. Black worktops and dark cupboards made it seem quite oppressive. Obvs the shutters have to stay shut to keep the sun and mozzies out which makes it worse, but you can help that my brightening the inside where you can.
One point that needs clarification.. the pool.. the villa does not have its own pool! The advert on booking.com makes it look like it does, however there is a pool 50 metres away, uphill for anyone with walking difficulties . You get given the code to get into it.
When we 1st booked it we did think we had our own pool and then realised over time we didn’t.
