Location is fantastic. A lovely walk into the town centre and options for great day hikes stepping out onto the trail from the door. The wood fuel stove provided beautiful warmth for the living area every night and we didn't need to use the split system which provides a drier and less pleasant heating option,
We would have enjoyed a better range of cooking gear - pots and pans and implements. Most of the knives provided were fairly blunt.

The fireplace was already prepared with wood and kindling and ready for us to light it upon arrival. In addition there was also a split system for extra heat (or cooling obviously if you are there in summer).
Beds were very comfy and not too soft.
The whole place was very roomy and we very much enjoyed our stay.
The lounge was a little uncomfortable (too soft) and one of us had to sit on a dining chair.

great location and easy access. Great communication when we needed to reach out. Cozy wood fire for the evenings and very comfy beds.
we had 6 people in our party and there was only enough seating in the lounge area for four. It would also have been good to have additional towels and I would have expected hand towels in the bathrooms. Very limited kitchen utensils and we needed to ask for additional knives and forks to have enough for our dinner.
