A brilliant stay at the farmhouse. The hosts were excellent, providing clear instructions and adding personal touches, such as toys for our little ones, which made it extra special. Highly recommend.

- Incredibly clean
- The rustic farmhouse aesthetic felt so cosy
- The fire pit was a huge bonus and so lovely to sit by to see in the new year
- Despite being around other properties it felt like we were the only ones there which was lovely
- Good parking facilities
- A lovely gift of chocolates and cava for our new years stay
- Beautifully festively decorated
- Central heating AND log burner (plus blankets) for the chilly winter rural evenings
- Comfortable beds and sofas!
- Clean bedding and towels ready for usage
- Good amount of amenities which often are overlooked (toilet paper, kitchen sponges, washing up liquid etc)
- Very private and well respectable owners
- Lovely big dining table, perfect for board games and socialising
Would 100% book this property again!
None of this impacted our stay in any major way; just very slight things. Overall, our stay was fantastic.
- Lack of WiFi connectivity, which was lovely to disconnect, however in order to access phone maps to go to the shops was a bit awkward (there was free WiFi, it was just not very good)
- The upstairs was much colder than downstairs, which was slightly uncomfortable when going to bed and getting up in the morning
- Some of the kitchen was missing some key utensils (such as 5 table knives, when the house sleeps 6). The sharp cooking knives were also very lacking too.
- Could do with one other seat in the main sitting room, we brought one from upstairs but it was not very comfortable
- Some of the doorknobs (in two of the bedrooms and the second sitting rooms) were slightly dodgy, or missing altogether.
