My stay at Vida Creek Beach Hotel fell short in nearly every aspect of hospitality and guest care. Check-in & Valet Service: The valet struggled to understand my request to retrieve two bags from my car trunk. I had to open the trunk myself and point out the bags after he looked for them in the wrong locations on my BMW cabriolet, where he was trying to find back door and two-door car. Room Quality: The single beds were uncomfortably small for adult guests. The in-room amenities were disappointing—cheap tea and only two sachets of budget Nescafé instant coffee. Noise & Sleep: Despite the hotel being only 30% occupied, we were placed adjacent to a room with two young children who screamed and jumped until 2 AM, making sleep impossible. Pool Experience: Staff supervision was inadequate. Six unsupervised children jumped and screamed in the pool for our entire 3-hour visit, misbehaving, throwing stones around the poolside, and creating a chaotic environment. The pool service staff took 3 hours to take away dirty plates and glasses —just as we were leaving. Breakfast: Quality was poor. The buffet included sour, expired shredded carrots, dried-out cucumbers cut the previous day, and stale pastries. Gluten-free bread was served still sealed in plastic bags that had been heated inside the packaging!!! Check-out: Staff didn't notify the valet that we were waiting for our car. After 15 minutes, we had to go outside ourselves to request our vehicle. Recommendation: The service and food standards need significant improvement before this hotel can be recommended.
