The location is stunning with a gorgeous stream running along the property. The sauna and pool facilities are really well finished and clean and the overall aesthetics of the place are lovely.
Unfortunately the enjoyment of our stay was impacted by noise issues. When we arrived it was explained that the windows were very thick to block out the noise of the stream at night - the stream was actually very pleasant and we had to leave the windows open to try and drown out the noise from the rest of the accommodation. From about 9pm to midnight each night the continuous doors banging, loud talking, dogs barking, running up and down stairs, even the noise of the flush in the next room was extremely loud. They have sound proofed to outside but absolutely nothing to try and soundproof to the other guests. We also had to have the window open as there is no AC, which is quite tough in the middle of July. It was a lovely place but unfortunately the noise disturbance impacted the experience for us.
