About this cabin rental
Stay in this lovely cabin, Just 30 minutes from breathtaking Yosemite National Park, and less than 15 minutes from Bass Lake. This is the perfect getaway for the traveler looking for relaxation; warm fellowship after a day in Yosemite, or beautiful Bass Lake. The mountain town of Oakhurst is just minutes away. While there are many gorgeous hikes in Yosemite, you can also take some lovely local hikes. In Oakhurst you can enjoy, a theater, fine or casual dining, axe throwing local events and festivities, ice skating at the Tenaya Lodge, and there are grocery, hardware, clothing, and sporting good stores. There are occasional snowy days in the winter. There is a lovely christmas celebration a few days in December, and there's no better place to celebrate Christmas. The whole cabin, upstairs and downstairs, is available in another listing called Drews Retreat Yosemite Oakhurst, in case you have 6 or 8 guests, but THIS listing is for smaller groups who come with 2-4 guests and prefer a cozy setting. No one shares the cabin with our guests, so we lock the upstairs... saving costs, and we pass that savings on to our guests, by charging less for the downstairs only. The yard is frequented by deer, racoons, squirrels, bear, foxes, birds, an occasional mountain lion. Enjoy BBQs on the spacious back deck, or meals in the open floor plan living/dining inside. You should find everything you need to cook and serve a nice meal, and if your meal prep uses and unusual appliance, contact us and we will try to have it there for you!

Good Home base for our visit to Yosemite and Bass Lake. We rented the bottom half for our group. Love the open cozy living room/ kitchen area. It also has a outdoor space, that is nice. Beds were comfy, and house clean and well stocked with all we need.

This property was perfect for our small family of three. We used only the bottom portion of this beautiful property. All amenities were in the home and easily found. Quiet and safe neighborhood, and close to Yosemite National Park, which is where we spent our time. Our hosts were readily available when needed and they were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this property.

Loved staying here! Drew’s retreat is quiet, comfortable, roomy, and beautiful! It’s about 1/2 to the south entrance of Yosemite. It’s convenient to restaurants/shopping but is in a country type setting. The host is amazing. I highly recommend! It looks much better than the pictures.
