Taj Taal Kutir

We went for a staycation at Taj Taal Kutir to celebrate the 70th birthday and our experience is amazing. We are more than super happy and satisfied The property is located in a quite corner of ecopark. The beautiful property with a vintage look makes it a cozy abode. We booked a room with a pool facing balcony and the view with the sound of flowing water is so soothing and makes the stay relaxing. The rooms are cozy and comfortable having all that is expected from taj hotels. Fully equipped coffee station, toiletaries and large bed, tv and vanity station. Also to mention the jhalmuri in room But what make the stay very special for us here is the staffs and their attentive hospitality. I called the hotel same day early morning mentioning about the occassion they beautifully decorated the room with baloons. The checkin facility was smooth with cordial behaviour of Priyansgshu and his colleagues. He also arranged the birthday cake and decoration and also give us good round of the hotel. The restaurant Verandaah was nice. We had a good lunch with luxurious lobster thermidor and mutton. The dinner was bit of not satisfactory considering the food taste is average and service was slow. We shared our feedback with the restaurant manager Mitish. He took the feedback with positive enthusiasm and on next day breakfast he took such care to serve an amazing breakfast. He get everything prepared warm and fresh and each item is super delicious. Also introduced us to the chef so that we can share our feedback. His such an positive response to our feedback and the care and attentiveness over the breakfast table has truly turned our experience into an amazing one and we can easily keep behind the slight dissapointment we have. Also to mention they get us a portion of mishti doi as a good gesture Talking about the good gesture the reception team welcomed us to perform a diya lightning ritual with us, we lamp the evening diya for the hotel.

My stay at Taal Kutir was disappointing. We were a group of girls arriving around midnight and had to carry our own luggage with no staff to assist, which felt unsafe and very inconvenient. Apart from the helpful reception team, the rest of the staff were unresponsive and not supportive at all. Expected much better service for the price and the hotel’s reputation
