Clean and comfortable with everything we could need for a short break away
Bedroom wasn’t dark enough with light coming in from behind the blinds. Construction work made a lay in not possible but as we stayed mostly at the weekend all was good

The property was lovely and maintained to a high standard. The location was perfect, and our host Clare was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. We honestly didn’t want to leave.😩
Honestly, there was nothing not to like — if we tried to find a fault, we’d still be looking.😆

The accommodation was immaculate, decor very tasteful, the view from the decking area was very relaxing.
The shower was just brilliant, the towels like you were in a luxurious hotel.
We could not fault anything.
Outside facilities were comfortable, but maybe a sunshade on the pagoda would have helped as we were getting record temperatures.
However when you went back into the accommodation it was so pleasantly cool, resulting in excellent night's sleep.
Altogether an amazing experience and we would come back.
We were warned about building work across the valley. It didn't particularly bother us, but it did diminish the lovely view a bit. We just learnt to sit down, then you couldn't see it.

The apartment was immaculate and clearly well thought out, Gorgeous decor and a kitchen that was equipt for every eventuality, without the cupboards being rammed.
Great location for a walk to either the Stumble Inn, opposite and the Pickled Pheasant, down the road. Both very welcoming.
Our dog was well catered for with treats and dog bed. He enjoyed the walk along the river into Holmfirth and around Digley Reservoir.
Would highly recommend, if only for a sit in the garden to enjoy the incredible view.
