Siva Golden Bay Makadi Couples and Families Only

We spent two wonderful weeks at this resort. The location, staff, food, sea, and lighting at night are truly unique. The bay and marine life are remarkable. # The staff were exceptional throughout our stay, with only two locations in the entire resort where service could be improved. I would like to give special thanks to Mr. Amer for his warm welcome from day one & his team. Beside Mr. Mohamed Ramadan (from the Booking Management team), and Ms. Rania (from Guest Relations) for making our stay so comfortable and exceptional. # Special thanks go to Chef Hazem and Chef Mahmoud, who have truly delivered the best restaurant experience we have had in Hurghada over the years. & for sure, the seafood HADABA restaurant staff (they are really professional and friendly) # Our room (No. 728) was outstanding, offering a remarkable view of the bay. The animation team, especially those working with the children, are doing a fantastic job. # Omar, Ahmed, and Abdo thanks for making our daily sea experience smooth and enjoyable. and thanks for opening the sea very early in the morning which was a very nice experience (which to make it close also a bit later closer to sunset if possible). #Also lobby bar team is really nice, fast, professional Lighting of the resort at night is extraordinary....... Overall, despite a few minor issues, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return again.

# The staff are generally very friendly and welcoming, with the exception of two locations where the service should be reconsidered: 1- The Main Plaza, where guests gather in the evening. The staff there could benefit from a more professional and courteous approach. 2- The Steakhouse seaside restaurant, where the staff made our experience unnecessarily difficult and less enjoyable. Unfortunately, both of these experiences negatively affected an otherwise outstanding impression of the resort and its team. # The resort is enormous, and while some facilities would benefit from maintenance and refurbishment, managing such a large property is understandably a challenging task. # Housekeeping needs a MAJOR improvement also # The coral reefs close to the shore require more care and conservation efforts to help them recover. However, the reefs in the deeper areas are beautiful and well worth exploring. # Overall, there are only a few minor aspects that could be improved. Addressing these would elevate an already excellent resort experience to a truly exceptional one.

Sea is great by all means Aqua and pools are good specially for kids Food in general is good specially a la carte restaurants and beach snacks Daily activities by animation team is fair Shuttle buses always available

Bungalow furniture is outdated and needs renovation specially bathrooms and AC sometimes don't work Surprisingly animation team arranged Thursday evening event to be charged extra 10 euros despite this wasn't mentioned during booking nor receptionist/guest relations staff Coffee machines at main restaurant always crowded and not sufficient for guests

Location and large grand size hotel beautiful, felt private and exclusive to the visitors only which I much appricated. Food selection was fantastic and the hotel was well maintained and clean. Various restaurants site were brilliant. Staff were excellent (apart from 1 or 2 waiters), onside aqua slides always available no ques etc which was a bonus. Lovely beach, staff always around to help and very friendly. We really enjoyed coral diving seiming with the fish's etc. Pools are also temperature controlled. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will be visiting again 🙂

Hotel is screaming for modernisation, example would be room doors should be digital key cards instead of door keys? Internet was poor in the room, AC was noisy, single bed and sofa bed were rock hard and not comfortable to sleep on + bed dovet, bed sheets and pillow cases have permanent stains/blood stains and are well worn hence althouh may had been washed, was not pleasant to look at. We stayed in a bungalow, recommended putting some large frames up to bring some character to the rooms, felt abit goshtly/airy in a plain room to start with but we did get used to it. Reception can be a little more helpful next time on support and not be dismissive with general guidance/enquiries.

Excellent beach and clean bathroom. Great view and great reception by Magdi. Staff is exceptional. The location is superb.

The gym is very poorly managed. There are no ventilation in the gym and the gym manager switches the aircon off when it is extremely hot. We have reported it on numerous occassions, the gym manager says he does not want to do anything about it. Do not got to Siva if you want to use a gym, it is unbearable. The game room is also in a bad condition. The pool sticks are worn out and the tabletennis raquettes and balls are bad quality.
