Fantastic little house in rural France near Aubeterre-sur-dronne. Hosts were very communicative and helpful with instructions. The house facilities were great. Two good sized bathrooms, one of which is en suite to the master bedroom. Kitchen well stocked with a variety of utensils and two fridges which was helpful. There was ample shade from the pergola and both indoor and outdoor dining areas. We’ll equipped outdoor kitchen and a comfortable living room as well. There an also a washing machine and dishwasher which was helpful as we were travelling with a baby. The house itself is very remote but there are a few neighbouring properties. As a result it was extremely peaceful and we had a great view of the stars because there was no light pollution. The pool isn’t heated but was very refreshing.
The driveway entrance is quite narrow so just be aware of that if you’re bad at reversing. The decking area by the pool has a great raised sunbathing section but needs a little maintenance. Overall it didn’t impact our enjoyment of the pool area though.

Aubeterre Sur Dronne is beautiful and we can recomend the pizza and burger restaurants
A lovely peaceful and restful holiday. Would recommend
