Great Location and Potential, but Sadly Let Down by Cleanliness and Maintenance
The apartment is in a fantastic location, has enormous potential, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable.
Unfortunately, the property is poorly maintained and cleanliness was a major issue. The kitchen cupboards, crockery and utensils were dirty and needed washing before use, the bathrooms had mould and grime that required a scrubbing before useable Several fixtures were broken or poorly maintained, including a loose toilet seat and a non-working bedroom TV.
Major Construction work directly outside began at 6 a.m. and continued until 5 p.m., with constant drilling. We were sadly not warned beforehand on booking making it impossible to relax or enjoy a peaceful morning or rest in the flat
Being on the 18th floor, the poorly sealed windows allowed considerable wind noise, at times sounding like a hurricane inside. Due to the pigeon infestation of the entire building The balcony was covered in pigeon droppings daily making it unpleasant and impossible to use.
It is a real shame, as with proper cleaning, maintenance and some attention to detail, this could be a wonderful apartment.
On a positive note, the apartment manager was always pleasant, approachable and helpful whenever we needed assistance, which we genuinely appreciated.
