Nestled in Bellport, this attractive house for $1,600 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. This serene and beautiful three bedroom waterfront home was recently completed by well-known architects on a magical site in walking distance to the many offerings of Bellport Village including quick beach access, unique stores and restaurants, kayaking and paddle boarding, all in a quaint and quiet historic setting. The home features new floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding glass and screen doors with Juliet balconies that maximize bay views while providing a pin-drop quiet bay front perch. The raised home rests on a bed of pea gravel with additional landscaping including native beach grasses along the water, a beautiful lawn, a separate hammock area, privacy hedges, and a welcoming allée of honey locust trees at the inviting entry. The house is located on a quiet street with few neighbors. The newly bulkheaded landscape offers flood and hurricane resistance, as well as a step down to enjoy the bay or take a dip. The house is divided into public and private wings connected by a double height central foyer with open-tread white oak and glass rail stairs and a gracious view of the bay. The separation of public and private zones allows those in the bedrooms to be undisturbed by activity throughout the rest of the house. The public activity takes place in a beautifully proportioned great room with a cathedral ceiling. The room includes generous living and dining areas delineated by a free-floating double-sided glass fireplace. A wall of custom cabinetry includes an expansive chef’s kitchen and island, as well as wet bar for entertaining. The well-equipped kitchen is complemented by a large outdoor grill and rotisserie on the adjacent bayfront deck. The living area is completed by a drop down television that emerges and disappears at the touch of a button. Sonos speakers fill the house with music as desired, both inside and out. A smart home system from Lutron raises and lowers shades and also controls a state of the art lighting and alarm systems. This space is set up as an outdoor living area with comfortable seating and dining, as well as a ping pong table. Badminton, corn hole and speed ball sets are also available, as are bicycles. The lower floor is completed with a garage and generous driveway. Materials used include custom-cut travertine floors tiles throughout with radiant floor heating. Lacquered wood cabinetry beautifully reflect the water. Raked Jerusalem limestone bathroom walls and Brazilian quartzite counters in the kitchen and vanities contribute to the neutral color palette. The house has a brand new cedar shake roof, custom gutters, and gray clapboard siding, ensuring both a beautiful setting and a worry-free rental experience. A swimming pool will be installed in time for summer 2024.
