Excellent location, less than 10 min of walking from the Tianmen cableway and shuttlebus station.
Room itself had everything we needed, good bed.
The best thing about our stay was that the staff helped us weeks in advance via WeChat with booking tickets and choosing the optimal route for Tianmen mountain. This is a major plus and saved us a lot of time and hassle. They have multiple English speaking contacts available on WeChat and Booking.
Everything looked like it was kinda worn and could use a good deep cleaning: the elevator, the bathroom, the lobby area, the couch,...
I would not recommend taking breakfast there. It was initially not included in our stay so we paid additionally to have breakfast, out of convenience (it was a fair price so no complaints there). But the breakfast wasn't appatizing and didn't give a very sanitary impression. We were used to much better in our previous Chinese hotels. Best to just get some pastries and a coffee at Luckin or Starbucks on your way up the mountain in my opinion.
