Well equipped little chalet in a great location.
Large sunny terrace at the front of the property with good views.
Small useful terrace at the back too.
Bedrooms were small.
Although there is a parking space immediately to the front of the property the roadway is very narrow for modern cars and getting in and out was a bit tricky.

First and foremost: it was a vey clean and nice accommodation. We were relieved when we arrived. The location is not directly on the beach but it's literally a two-minute-walk, so we consider it perfect. "Marnie's Rest" is location in a hut/cabin park on a slight slope (You can partly see the ocean from the hut). The other huts seemed to be either privately owned or rented out by some company to tourists. It was very clean, very quiet and we enjoyed the very short distance to the beach. We hardly missed anything in the cabin. The key needs to be picked up and dropped of in the office of the company which is in a different location in Lyme Regis (it's a wonderful small seatown, very lovely - we and our kids loved it). There is private parking directly outside the cabin even if we didn't dare to use our private spot since it was so steep. We as non-English family had some problems locking the doors, getting the heating and the shower work, but got immediate personal assistance through the telephone number given and the very friendly maintenance guy who came fast. We asked AI as well, if problems showed up we as non-British were not familiar with.
There are towels but one set of towels more would be helpful.
Not cheap - but in England nothing is cheap in general. Given that fact, it was ok.

The location was wonderful and just right for our short stay close to the beach but also easy to drive to surrounding areas.
The home was clean and set up with everything we needed, and even board games in case of bad weather, which we lucky didn't have.
We especially liked seeing the lawn bowls club and the kids even got a chance to learn how to play.
For us, the bed was a bit too firm but others might not find this a problem.
The only thing we had to get was washing up liquid as dishwasher tablets were provided but there was no dishwasher to our knowledge. This was a small thing though and easily found at the local Tesco.
