I've had a fabulous stay at the cabin. It is located in a quiet dead end street but still close to the main road. The host Lorna was absolutely helpful and always answered my questions immediately. The cabin has a compact kitchen and the breakfast hamper was already in the cabin, with milk and juice in the fridge.... I was taken really good care of!

Not ideal on the hottest day in June for 60-odd years but a mild or cool night would have made the rating better
The welcome pack and personal greeting card
Parking (for 1 car) on the driveway
The jacuzzi (but the additional charge for heating etc wasn’t clear on booking.com)
Overlooked
No fan or bottled water provided on a hot day (the tap didn’t supply cold water)
However the landlords excepted the constructive criticism well

Had a fire place and smart TV. The microwave and fridge were great facilities that made it feel like a home and all the kitchen accessories. Decor was good and unique. They left a ballon for me in the room for my birthday. Nice gesture.
Was quite small and I didn’t realise you had to convert the sofa to a bed. Thought there was a separate space with already made bed and the sofa bed was an addition. Space was really small as Once the sofa was converted to bed, not much room. There were cobwebs which wasn’t nice. Room was cold on arrival and took a while to heat up and no insulation so very cold once you switch off heating. Macerator was very loud with a horrible noise once you opened the tap or had a pee before you even flushed so you couldn’t wash your hands or pee without waking up your partner. Found it a bit absurd having just a curtain separate the kitchen area from the toilet. No privacy if you are making tea and someone is taking a dump as you could still see them and probably smell them. Thankfully no one had to. It felt like a shed than a cabin. I suppose more ideal for summer stay.
