Hotel was in a great location opposite the beach. Very nice clean and upmarket accommodation. Breakfast was great as were the various dining options. Great view from the higher floors and the dining room. Plenty of entertainment options provided at the hotel. Beautiful treatments available at the onsite spa. Transport available for shopping and attractions which can be arranged by the hotel.
Couldn't swim at the beach as there was signage about it being too dangerous. Pool areas could be busy. Area surrounding the Platinum somewhat dated.

The rooftop bar and breakfast has amazing views and too watch the sunset each night is priceless
Everybody has their own preferences but the bed was too hard for me and the barking dogs throughout the night were a bit annoying but ear plugs were supplied

Hotel was AMAZING! Absolutely beautiful, staff are wonderful and the food was great! Beach is across the road and there are a few beach chairs that are for guests if you want to spend the day lounging. Close to the wonderful seafood restaurants and seafood markets if this is your thing. Walking in the other direction, you have a beautiful walk where you can go for surfing lessons or just pop in somewhere for a bite. This was a great choice for when we first flew in to stay and few days then move on. Short drive to Uluwatu if you want to visit the temple and go to a Kecak Fire Dance evening.
There isn't much to see or do if you are walking around so you would have to get a driver for the day to go about and the mattresses were super hard. On the grand scheme of things, nothing that would stop us from staying there again.

Lovely hotel, great roof top bar to watch the sunset.
Very good food and the staff were wonderful.
The hotel is not beachfront, it faces the sea but there is a road in front and hotel looks onto the rear entrance of all beachfront restaurants. Some restaurants burn refuse (plastic) and the smell is not good.
