The property itself was really clean and comfortable with everything we needed and really well maintained and welcoming . Lots of information on the surrounding area and local amenities. Small co-op round the corner large Tesco further into Portland. It’s a great base from which to explore the wider area Weymouth, Portland lighthouse, Jurassic Coast, Lyme Regis, Charmouth Beach.
Welcoming basket was a lovely touch as were all all the board games.
A great place to base yourself and then go and explore.
The property itself was lovely; its location was less so. Parking could be a bit of a pain, particularly if you returned later in the day, and we found Fortuneswell itself a little tired. There were also limited options for eating out within easy walking distance, so we generally needed to drive elsewhere.

We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t have asked for a better home from home. The property had absolutely everything we needed, making our holiday comfortable, relaxing and completely hassle-free. It was clean, well-equipped and had all the little touches that made us feel at home. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it!
The only downside was the limited on-street parking, so we sometimes had to try different local car parks. Fortunately, these were free, which made things much easier.

Location was great, house had everything we needed and more and was so comfortable. Very clean. Beautifully decorated and wonderful welcome basket. Helpful and friendly owner. We would highly recommended this house to anyone, we loved it!

Lovely little home, great location and communication with hosts. Lovely welcome basket for us and the dog. Very clean and comfortable stay - couldn’t have asked for better, thank you.
It really was great. If I was being picky, I think it would be great to make it clearer on booking.com that dogs aren’t allowed upstairs but this is by no means a criticism, just a recommendation :)
