The location of the property is superb, overlooking a cardamon plantation, frequently visited by different species of birds.
The view of mountains around is also beautiful.
The rooms given to us were spacious and the modern amenities were also provided. The view from the balcony was just amazing. I was surprised to find a hair dryer in the bathroom.
The staff behavior was also good and the food cooked was okay.
The way up to the property is quite bad and difficult for certain cars to reach. The guests should be mindful of that while planning.
The food options were less and there are no other eateries around since the place is very remote.

The Spice Forest is in a paradise location. That is pretty much all. Also, the caretaker there, who also cooked our meals, was phenomenal, with every meal a sensation.

The views were spectacular.
The staff were very pleasant and helpful and made us some lovely meals. They also helped out with getting us from the main road up to the Homestay as you need a 4 wheel drive to manage the road. There was an additional cost for this
The rooms were quite spartan. They were big rooms with plenty of space but literally just a bed in it. A couple of chairs would have been good. There were chairs on the balcony but not in the room. All of the rooms had difficulty with the shower mechanisms.
The second day there was a storm with a power cut. The poor staff struggled with their generator from 4 am to provide some power. The generator was just not big enough so although they managed to cook some breakfast , there were no lights and no hot water..
