Location was perfect and the pool was a nice addition for the kids when we were beached out. The only downfall was the washing machine did not work so we ran out of towels.

This house is pure Maui charm. It is an older house, but it is clean, well stocked, close to everything and has a pool. We have 7-people and an 18-month old baby with us. We absolutely loved the place. The owner, Lee, is very responsive if you have any questions or an issue. We did have a plumbing issue and notify the owner. Someone was there within an hour and fixed the issue.
The house was a great place to use as our home base for this vacation. We would definitely rent it again!

We enjoyed our stay. The property is located in a great area. The pool and spa were great. The spa programs took a few minutes to figure out but were worth the effort. We really enjoyed the spacious common rooms upstairs and the screened porch. The basement bedrooms could use a little updating but the beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. We had an issue with the washing machine but were still able to use it with small loads. In all, we thought it had charm and good usable space for our family.

What a wonderful home. Everything we needed for our family of 8 (6 adults and 2 children). We all loved the pool and hot tub; grandkids spent hours in there!! Perfect location. We walked to Whaler’s Village; close to Kaanapali and easy drive to Lahaina!! Bruce was easy to get ahold of if we had a question or needed something. Perfect family vacation.

This house was very comfortable for our family vacation including 3 couples and one toddler. It was the perfect size space for us. The house was clean and as pictured/advertised. The location was nice, about a 10-15 minute walk to the beach, and we had enjoyed using the boogie boards and other beach toys.

We really enjoyed the home we stayed in on Maui. It would have been a 5 star if they had finished the pool and spa in time for our family to use it. It was close to being finished. It was in a nice and quiet neighborhood and had fantastic ocean views. It had lots of furnished upstairs dining and viewing areas which were awesome. Once the pool and spa are ready we will request this VRBO again. Also, it's practically on a beautiful golf course. It was stocked with lots of in door games and out door toys. It was close to Whaler's Village, which was great!

Pros: Comfortable home with panoramic view of Lanai, some ocean and beautiful sunsets. Situated close to Kaanapali resort and Whaler's village. Owner responded promptly to questions and problems. Lots of beach toys for the children. Beds were very comfortable.
Cons: advertised swimming pool was being redone and not functional. Owner did reimburse some of rental fee due to said absence. One good beach chair and others were pretty beat up. Cockroaches in ground level living areas.

The property was in a great location and a very nice home. Would definitely have given it 5 stars but unfortunately the pool wasn't finished yet. Otherwise we had an amazing time and would definitely stay there again.

The location of this home is great and it’s a short walk to the beach.
The house was comfortable and it will be fun to enjoy the pool when it’s finished. Bruce was a wonderful host answering any and all questions very quickly. Check in was a breeze.

This house is well located just across the street from the Kanaapili resort area and only 10 minutes to Lahaina. It is a great place for a larger group, with two master suites (one of which is a two room suite) and a smaller bedroom. The kitchen is large enough for a group to cook dinners in comfort and there is both a large living room upstairs and a small one downstairs. We spent most of our time on the lanai, marveling at the beautiful view over to Molokai.

Great property and location! Bruce is very communicative and reliable. There was some confusion with the check in process that was quickly alleviated. The property will be even nicer once the pool is finished. Plenty of space and beach gear for our family of 7 adults and a 3 year old.

We enjoyed all the convenience of home during our vacation in Maui. Everyone enjoyed their own space with lots of rooms and amenities. It is an older style home. I would recommend windows to be upgraded to make it more energy efficient. This place is recommended for families and groups larger than 5.

The property was easy to find and as listed and I was happy there was no construction going on for the future spa and pool. The view and sunsets were spectacular, and the house very spacious. We spent most of our time away with our daughter's wedding and other events, and the house was always welcoming when we returned. Definitely recommend

This was an amazing experience for 2 families! We loved the full kitchen with all the appliances we needed. We spent most of our time out exploring but when we were there, we were on the lanai. Beds are super comfortable and everything was very clean. Short walk to the beach, great parking, lots of beach toys, very quiet. Loved every minute and Bruce is the best host we have encountered! Highly recommend this property.

My wife and friends stayed here for a week vacation. It's great to park a couple cars at and starting point for adventure. The amenities are better than hotels and much more cost effective. Can walk to great beaches across the street

Bruce was a great host who communicated quickly with my questions; provided additional bedding when asked and even mailed back to me an item I left behind in the home.
This home is spacious and centrally located in Lahaina. It's quiet and tucked away near the golf course and is right across the way to Whaler's Village. The beds were very comfortable; all bathrooms had a stationary and handheld shower heads; AC in each bedroom in which you can set your own temperature; plenty of bath/beach towels and beach gear. There is a nice sized dining table indoors and outdoors on the lanai to enjoy your meals and the view is spectacular. It has a large washer and two dryers (one inside and one in the garage) you can use.
The only minor issue we had were tiny ants that can invade the home (due to the nature of living in the tropics) if you didn't keep the counters, tables, floors clear of food. But Bruce warned us of this problem, provided ant spray and encouraged us to dump the garbage daily which we did. Honestly, we did not see many ants and if we did they were very easy to wipe up.
Overall our first time visit to Maui was very memorable and I would highly recommend staying in this lovely home. Bruce indicated he has plans to add a swimming pool in the backyard later this summer. That will be an amazing addition to his home!

This was a great property for our 7-member family. There was enough space for each of us to feel comfortable both alone and together. Great location -- easy to get to beaches and other places we wanted to visit. Would certainly return to this location. The owner was helpful and responsive to any questions we had. This home was located 15 walking minutes from the best beach beach in America - Kaanapali beach and whalers village for some shopping and eats. It was also located in a great spot to drive up north to great a snorkeling beach in Kapalua and south to lahaina.
The check in process was very easy, and Bruce made sure everything was set up and cleaned up as expected. Bruce also took the time to make sure we knew where the home equipment and kitchen items were located to make sure we really felt at home.
The home was indeed clean, had an awesome view, comfortable rooms and nice beach equipment that we got to use to enhance our stay in Maui.
I would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking to say away from the hustle of the nearby resorts. I would love to rent this place again with my family next time.

This house is awesome! Walking distance to whaler’s village for delicious food/drinks, shopping, and beach access. Golf course club house is less than 5 minute walk from the house. Beach access all around. The house was full of great amenities and had a beautiful island vibe to it. The outdoor dining balcony was our favorite spot in the house. Kids loved the huge backyard, and the garage was stocked with everything we needed for the beach. Bruce does VRBO the right way! No better way to do Maui.

What a lovely house, complete with all the stated amenities. We adored the lanai off the kitchen and spent mornings drinking coffee and evenings drinking wine. Everything seemed within a one-half to 3 mile radius. We snorkeled with the gear provided, turned on Hawaiian music for dinners, slept in very comfortable beds. Whales watching off lanai. Beautiful home. Bruce available and willing to provide vacation info. Would like to come here again. Mahalo.

Bruce made our stay on Maui very easy. Check in and check out we’re simple. The property was clean and has lots of space, including a beautiful lanai perfect for breakfast and morning coffee. It’s convenient to the beach, restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay again.

This was a perfect house for our family with small children. Communication with Bruce was so easy! We had a few hiccups but not to his fault (power went out one night due to an accident). It was an absolutely amazing quite location close to everything but far enough away to enjoy the sunsets in peace and quiet! The home is older, but has ac in every room and we were comfortable felt like we were staying at grandma and grandpas place! The kitchen was great and stocked with all the basics! Tons of beach things as well made our two week stay amazing!! Would definitely stay here again!
