Das Zimmer war recht gross und hatte eine schöne Aussicht. Es gab zwei grosse Aufzüge, um das Apartment (im 9. Stock) zu erreichen. Als die Waschmaschine nicht funktionierte, riefen wir den Besitzer an, und er schickte noch am selben Abend seinen "fix man".
Die reparierte Waschmaschine war so alt, dass unsere Klamotten nach zweimaligem Waschen noch stanken, zum Teil mehr als zuvor. Ausserdem war die Küche sehr schlecht ausgestattet: Es gab genau eine Gabel für die ganze Wohnung, ein paar Buttermesser, und sonst nicht mehr viel.
