The location is nice. The house is clean and the garden is great.
When we rented the house it was never shown that we would be sharing the yard with other guests+ the host's mother and father who live behind the house. On several occasions they came to check what we were doing with no reason. We were offered early check in, which we appreciated, but then we were asked to leave by 10 in return. I agreed on that with the owner. Then her mother came to ask again at what time we are leaving, but as she doesn't speak english, she asked the man (probably the father)to come and ask. I saw in the comments that this is not the first time they have done it. No blankets. Yellow water in the WC sink.
I was planning to rate it with 10 until we were rushed to leave. We have to kids with PANDAS syndrome who tried to ask as normal as possible in order not to attract the attention of the owner's parents. We observed all rules. Cleaned. Kids were sleeping in the quiet hours (unlike the rest of the quests).
The reason for the rating is the fact that when you are on a holiday you don't expect to have 24/7 live survelliance.

Locatie ten opzichte van het strand. Niet aan een drukke weg, maar wel binnen 2 minuten lopen op het strand. Veel ruimte voor kinderen om te spelen (binnen en buien). 2 volwaardige slaapkamers. Aardige eigenaren. Goede prijs kwaliteit.
Geen boiler, dus koud water bij slecht weer.

Location is key: 200 m from the sea and right in the middle of the settlement of Toroni. The house itself is very nicely decorated and well equipped, with a yard, balcony and private parking. The host was also flexible enough to let us check in earlier when we arrived.*
*Unfortunately, everything was great until check-out. The advertised check-out time was 11:00. At 8:30 in the morning, the host came to our door and told us, rather abruptly, that we had to vacate the property by 9:30.
When we asked why, we were told that because the host had allowed us to check in earlier than the advertised check-in time, we were therefore expected to check out an hour and a half earlier as well. This had never been communicated to us, discussed with us or agreed in any way. Had we been told this when we arrived, we would never have accepted the early check-in, because our plans specifically required us to make use of the property until the advertised 11:00 check-out time.
We were then put in the position of having to explain to the host that we had paid for the accommodation until 11:00 and were entitled to stay until then. The host’s manner throughout this interaction was extremely cold, impolite and intrusive. We ultimately had to contact Booking.com customer support to resolve the matter, and they confirmed that the advertised check-out time was indeed 11:00.
What makes this particularly disappointing is that an otherwise excellent stay was completely soured by the way this situation was handled. There was absolutely no reason why this could not have been communicated politely and, most importantly, in advance.
The property itself is lovely and I would recommend it for its location and facilities. However, be very cautious when dealing with this host and make sure that any change to the agreed check-in or check-out times is explicitly communicated and agreed beforehand.
Unfortunately, this host was a stain on what was otherwise an excellent experience of Greek hospitality.
