The helpful girls on reception and the fabulous breakfast
The location. The pictures made me believe this was on the beach. Unfortunately I think what may have happened is that land has been reclaimed from the sea and as such this was not beachfront. On checking I saw the description says 0.5km from the beach but having seen the picture that misled me.

Great location- right in in middle of the town.
I can easily access the Sun square and took e bus or walk to the beach and restaurants.
Good breakfast with planty of choices.
Need to wait for 3 minutea after come in the room to turn the AC on

We liked the design and decor of the hotel, it is very pleasing with good use of colour. The ladies on reception when we arrived were very polite, informative and helpful. Breakfast was fine with several options. The location was good just off the main town bay near to lots of other bars and restaurants. The hotel arranged a day trip for us which we enjoyed and was VFM.
The bay at Cat Ba has been reclaimed and a huge resort, not in keeping with the rest of the town, is being constructed. It changes the entire feel of the place, plus when finished I suspect the road infrastructure will not cope. Not the fault of the hotel, but something other travellers may want to be aware of.
