This is a super nice, clean and well equipped and decorated apartment which was beyond my expectation, and with beautiful river view outside the window. We had really good time staying here for three days. It's near the main streets in the town and Bad Ischl Hbf. I'll definitely choose Refugium to stay again next time.

Great location! It’s a 10-minute walk from the bus station and 5 minutes to the town centre, with lovely lake views on the way. The apartment is clean and spacious. Ingrid is a wonderful host. She shares useful tourist info and details about the amenities, is really friendly and always responds quickly to questions. Highly recommended!

Eigentlich müsste ich dem Apartment eine 10 geben, aber es gab keinen Balkon (siehe unten). Das Apartment hat Hotel-Qualität, ist super modern und gut ausgestattet. Die Lage ist direkt am Fluss mit der Brücke ins Zentrum vor der Haustür. Es ist sehr ruhig und trotzdem zentral. Der Parkplatz ist direkt vor der Haustür. Es gibt eine handgeschriebene Willkommens-Botschaft und Apfelsaft :)
Was ich nicht ok fand, ist die Vorabinformation über den Balkon:
Die Fotos waren hier absichtlich oder unabsichtlich irreführend, da der Balkon offensichtlich nur zum Appartement Kathrin gehörte. Da ich eine erfahrene Bucherin bin, habe ich daher extra in der "Ausstattungsliste" des von mir gebuchten Appartements nachgesehen, und da war auch beim - von uns gebuchten - Appartement Traun eine "Terasse" angegeben, die es nicht gab! Diese Information ist also definitiv falsch und hat unseren Aufenthalt getrübt, da ein Balkon für uns immer ein muss ist und wir diese Buchung sonst gar nicht gemacht hätten.
Wer auf einen Balkon keinen Wert legt -> das Apartment hat meine volle Empfehlung!
