Unmissable idyllic, wooded hills dotted with olive groves, picturesque villages and authentic farmhouses are visible from Villa Zvonar, set on the verdant hillside in the heart of central Istria. A traditional stone house has been lovingly and carefully renovated to retain its original charm and tranquillity, to which modern facilities have been added, including beautifully appointed en-suite bathrooms, Wi-Fi and underfloor heating. The first floor offers a spacious open plan living and dining room with a fully equipped kitchen so you can venture out to cook some of the regional recipes. Wood-beamed ceilings, natural stone walls and a cozy fireplace provide a pleasantly inviting rustic atmosphere, while the large panoramic windows let in plenty of natural light and emphasize the endless views. The three tastefully decorated bedrooms are on the upper floor, two of which have private terraces that serve as ideal quiet corners. The same care and attention has been given to the outdoor area, where you will find an eco-garden. The extensive lawn garden is adorned with a variety of flowers, as well as lavender and rosemary bushes, and surrounds the inviting pool. Real tranquillity and the unique beauty of this magical region can truly be enjoyed here. The outdoor jacuzzi is at your disposal.

Traditional local festivities and the renowned international film festival are hosted here, enlivening this small, tranquil place. The number of towns and villages to visit is too long to list; here we are in the heart of central Istria, one of the most beautiful places in the world. It is also famous for local Teran and Malvazija grapes, olive oil, homemade cheese, prosciutto, grilled meat and of course truffles, which you can taste in restaurants in the many villages and towns in the region. There are numerous hiking and cycling trails, one of the most beautiful of which is the historic Parenzana - old railroad line, where you can even experience the unique ride on the tourist train along the historic route. Horseback riding, a few rounds of golf or simply enjoying the thermal waters of the nearby spa add to this long list of activities. The main coastal towns of Umag, Novigrad and Porec are easily accessible due to excellent road connections and offer very extensive leisure facilities, good nightlife, bars and restaurants.
