Villa Tempera
The beautiful Villa Tempera is situated on the outskirts of the village of Marcana and, thanks to its location, combines the very best Istria has to offer: peace and relaxation, whilst being close to Istria’s largest town. Villa Tempera is a modern country house, decorated in a mix of warm tones combined with light and colourful details. On the open-plan ground floor, you’ll find a living area with a kitchen and dining area, as well as an outdoor dining area and a spacious bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. There is also a separate bathroom with a bath on the ground floor. From the beautifully furnished living/dining area, you have direct access to the outdoor area with a swimming pool and a cosy terrace featuring a lounge area and barbecue. Just a few steps separate you from the pool with sun loungers, which will offer you the refreshment and relaxation you need on warm summer days. For even more fun for the little ones, there is a small children’s play area.
On the first floor are the other two bedrooms, both with double beds and their own en-suite bathrooms. From one of the bedrooms, you have direct access to the balcony with a cosy seating area and views of the peaceful surrounding countryside.The beautiful holiday villa, Villa Tempera, is situated in Marcana, a small village and municipality of the same name in southern Istria. This part of Istria is characterised by green hills and bays with crystal-clear water, ideal for exploring the underwater world. The villa’s location offers the perfect balance of tranquillity and private enjoyment, away from the hustle and bustle of town life and tourist crowds, yet not far from all the major towns in Istria. All the necessary amenities can be found right in Marcana: local grocery shops, cafés, a post office, a bank, a doctor, a dentist… Marcana is situated approximately 12 km north-east of Pula, the largest town in Istria, world-famous for its ancient amphitheatre, which was built in the first century during the reign of the Roman Emperor Vespasian. As well as its cultural and historical treasures, Istria offers a unique gastronomic experience, well known throughout this part of Europe: homemade prosciutto (pršut), wine and Istrian pasta (fuzi) are just some of the delicacies of Istria’s Mediterranean cuisine. Istria is also home to one of the most beautiful national parks in Croatia – the Brijuni Islands. The islands can be reached by boat from Fazana, a small former fishing village known for its fine olive oil and situated approximately 15 km from the villa.
