We had an amazing stay! The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the location was perfect, peaceful and quiet while still being just a short drive from town. There were plenty of hiking opportunities and things to do in every direction, making it a great home base for exploring the area.The cabin itself was very clean, cozy, and incredibly well-equipped. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We especially appreciated having a regular coffee maker, a Keurig, and an electric kettle. There were plenty of pots, pans, dishes, glasses, mugs, utensils, and silverware, plus thoughtful extras like dish soap, hand soap, and trash bags.We loved the authentic wood cabin atmosphere, especially relaxing by the fireplace. The wraparound deck was phenomenal and provided the perfect place to unwind while taking in the stunning mountain views.One of our must-haves was a hot tub, and this one definitely did not disappoint! It was a highlight of our stay. The outdoor fire pit was perfect for s’mores and my daughter loved the outdoor swings. The basement was a huge hit with our kids. They loved having their own space complete with bunk beds, a PlayStation, air hockey, a heater, and their own bathroom. The master bedroom and loft were also beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable. Other family members joined us for the trip and stayed in the two additional bedrooms on the main floor. Having a full bathroom on that level gave them plenty of privacy and comfort. They also loved the cabin and couldn't stop talking about the incredible views.There was plenty of seating for everyone, with a comfortable couch and a large dining table where we could gather together. Overall, this cabin exceeded our expectations in every way. We made wonderful family memories here and would happily stay again. Highly recommend for families.

The drive up the mountain to the house was tough the first time in our loaded down minivan. Once we got the hang of it, it wasn’t as bad (October). Our other family members had a 4x4 truck and didn’t have any worry. Would like to have had more rocking chairs on the porch, but we still loved everything.

The blinds didn’t work in one bedroom. It would have been nice to have some firewood. Needs a comfortable chair in living room for extra seating.
