A Beautiful historical building close to the station & shopping malls. The reception staff were great. All our requests were attended to. They organised a shuttle to Ellis park for us & they were able to advise me that my dietary needs could be met (gluten free egg free) the breakfast was delicious. The room was beautiful & the amenities lovely.

The staff were absolutely fantastic! Super helpful and friendly at all times. The location 150m from the Gautrain station and is surrounded by loads of lovely restaurants and cafes. My room was really big (I was staying alone in a Family Room 5) and the bath and separate shower were a treat!
There were no mirrors in the bedroom at all - so blow-drying my hair was a nightmare. There is a mirror in the bathroom - but no plug.
Outside my room was a courtyard - where a group of ladies were having breakfast on the Saturday which it was incredibly noisy. Sunday there was noone outside and it was lovely and quiet.
There were no international plug sockets - not a biggie, but would have helped.
There was no fridge in the room - I have medication which needed refrigerating.
Everything was manageable - but I would look at having a mirror in the room - esp. considering there is no lack of space.
