Lage: Sehr zentral im inneren Bereich der Altstsadt, fußläufig zum Papstapalat/ Markthalle.
Parken: Nächst gelegene Option ist das Parkhaus beim Papstpalast. 7 Tage = 50 €. Falls nicht online buchbar: Einfahrstticket ziehen und zur Information auf Ebene 0 gehen und dort ein 7-Tage-Ticket kaufen. Die Wohnung kann nicht mit dem Auto angefahren werden. Rollkoffer sind bei den Pflastersteinen und Treppen herausfordernd, Bollerwagen empfehlenswert.
Terasse: Perfekt, sehr idyllisch!
Obere Etage: Hier wurde mit neuen Betten investiert. sauber.
Klimaanlage: Hat sehr gut funktioniert.
Sauberkeit; Sub summarum war es siffig. Teller/ Besteck mit Schmierfilm, unsaubere Besteckschublage, fleckige Möbel und Wände, fehlende Glühbirne im Küchenbereich, Toilettenbürste unterirdisch, nicht montierter Wasserhahn im Badwaschbecken, eine Bananenschale war unter dem Müllsack, den wir bei Abreise mitgenommen hatten, ... .
Treppe: Wer nicht sehr trittsicher ist, ist hier nicht gut lokalisiert, sehr steil und eng. Beim Abwärtsgehen passt ein Fuß nicht zur Gänze auf die Stufen. Das Geländer zum oberen Schlafzimmer ist nicht sicher montiert.

We had a lovely stay in this apartment in Avignon. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of the city and surrounded by beautiful cobbled streets. The apartment also had a superb view of the Palais des Papes, which made the location feel even more special.
The apartment itself was great, with a good-sized kitchen and living area and plenty of space to relax. The air conditioning throughout was very welcome, particularly during the warmer weather. We also really enjoyed having the terrace, which was a great bonus and a lovely place to sit and unwind.
Some of the listed equipment was missing, although we did report this to the host so they were aware. Areas of the apartment could also have been cleaner.
