It has such a good vibe - everything that you would want while staying in Byron. The room was beautiful, as were the gardens, wellness area and pool. It was also in a great location to town and the beach so you had everything at your fingertips. The Swell team were so accommodating and lovely too. Felt very comfortable and welcomed.

We can wholeheartedly recommend Swell Byron Bay! It is an incredibly beautiful and exceptionally well-maintained boutique hotel, with so much love and attention to detail throughout.
The staff were absolutely wonderful – incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely kind. The location is also perfect, just a few minutes’ walk from the centre of Byron Bay.
Our stay at Swell was truly special and definitely one of the highlights of our four-week trip around Australia. We felt completely at home and would come back in a heartbeat.

Staff were amazing - the service felt warm and authentic but not too fussy. Felt like we were staying with very cool local friends that had the best recommendations.
Minor but blackout curtains are a little short for windows and let cracks of light in, and there are no drawers or clothing storage.
